In the summer of 2022, I landed an internship with Autism Speaks Canada. Throughout my internship, I was able to work on campaigns as well as pitch, launch and create campaigns.
I was brought back for work placements and other projects until their closure in early 2025.
Walk- Ambassador Videos
For Autism Speaks Canada’s Annual Walks in June 2022, I was assigned a roster of ambassadors from across the country, including public figures such as MP Mona Fortier and autistic community members. After receiving their video submissions, I edited each piece in Adobe Premiere and created all accompanying graphics, including lower thirds, using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects
Life on the Spectrum
Pride Month Special
For Pride Month in June 2022, we highlighted individuals who are part of the LGBTQ2IA+ community and also on the autism spectrum. As part of Autism Speaks Canada’s ‘Life on the Spectrum’ docuseries, this episode featured Maddy Dever, a non-binary autistic advocate from Canada. Video was shot by my colleagues in Toronto and edited by me in Saskatoon using Adobe Premiere, and graphics were designed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop including the question graphics.

Brand Guide
Game On was Autism Speaks Canada’s initiative to encorporate fundraising into esports such as live streaming on Twitch. It was my duty to help write and design the brand guide for how to use the logos correctly. Designed primarily using Adobe InDesign.

Life On The Spectrum- Campaign Launch
As mentioned previously, ‘Life on the Spectrum’ was Autism Speaks Canada’s docuseries showcasing autistic individuals from across the country. During my internship, I pitched, recruited, produced, voiced, and launched this Saskatoon-based episode featuring myself and my friends. I also led the marketing campaign, which included coordinating a billboard launch at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto.
